AARON “AC” CAPERS

I’m a graduate of James Bowie High School, class of 2005, under the tutelage of Doyle Bellville. While in High School I took part in a number of percussion ensembles, and Marching band, concert bands and participated in the University of Texas at Arlington Winter Percussion Bashes. In 2004, my junior year, I participated in my first WGI Percussion Ensemble called Insignia. My Senior year I started my next journey performing with another WGI group called Surround Sound Percussion whom I marched with from 2005-2008.

I went on to march with the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corp in 2008, where we won I&E Gold for The Best Bass Ensemble. I went on to teach at the Revolution Drum and Bugle Corp from 2009-2011, where my students went on to win their Open Class I&E for Best Bass Ensemble.

As a member of Dynamic Rhythm Entertainment, I was able to to be a part of the Cutting Edge Haunted House Percussion Ensembles, The Dallas Mavericks Drumline, San Antonio Spurs Hype Quad, FC Dallas Soccer Club, and a bevy of corporate gigs that came by proxy. I was also a member of the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue Drumline from 2010-2012.

I started off playing drum set for a hip hop band called The Boxer's Brain, then shortly afterwards joined a Folk Rock/Americana band, with members of the hip hop band in Loyal Sally. From taking gig after gig, and subbing in for other bands more opportunities came my way, as I was asked to sit in with a Latin/Peruvian Rock Band named Mayta. The bassist from the band asked me to join his Fusion - Soul/Funk/Reggae band called The Effinays. And most recently I've started playing with a Pop Punk band called Further North.

My expertise comes from my flexibility to adapt my stye of play to fit whatever genre I need to. Anything from Reggae to Latin, from Funk to Pop Punk, from Folk Rock to Hip Hop, and all the beautiful genres in between.

If you'd like to know more about me please don't hesitate to ask. Live life over the bar line!

CORY VYSE

Cory started fiddle at the age of 9 under the training of Tobi Mercer and Dale Morris.  He spent much of his youth playing in Competitions, earning him a scholarship for fiddle at Southplains College.  In college he continued his education on fiddle and commercial music.  After college he went out into the world playing and sharing the stage with a few well known groups, such as Cameran Nelson and Zane Williams.  He as also jumped on the stage with Roger Creager, Casey Donahue, and Bri Bagwell.  Cory is now happily married with a beautiful daughter and proud to put his focus into the Deadwood Band.

BOB LEE SIMMONS

Bob Lee Simmons began playing the double bass at the age of 8, under the tutelage of his bass Yoda, Mr. Brian Peacock. over the years, he has performed in numerous groups in many styles; from classical, to jazz, funk, country, blues, polka, opera, punk, fusion, and more, just to name a few. Bob studied double bass performance at the University of Texas. He has spent his entire teaching and performing career collecting inspiration from the wonderful musicians he has been able to create with.  the beautiful thing about music, after all, is that no matter what you play or listen to, there's only twelve notes, and we all get to play them.
